Garrofón Bean

It is large, white and flattened. Despite its size, it has very good cooking qualities, giving as a result a buttery texture bean. It absorbs the flavours of the ingredients which is why it is widely uesd in Valencian paella, however, it can be much broader, as garnish for meats, stews or in salads.
