Also called caviar lentil due to its black colour, small size and rounded shape. It contains 20-30% more proteins tan other varieties. It helps sugar regularization and colesterol. No soaking needed. After cooked loses part of its colour, tender and they have a pleasant flavour and texture. Excellent variety to add to salads.
